It shines a light on a brilliant Quebec scientist who remained in the shadow of her mentor and peers for far too long, and helps to restore her to her rightful place today. Above all, it shows us the role that Marcelle Gauvreau and so many other women played, through both grand gestures and painstaking labour, in the development of Quebec.
