Immersive exhibition | Mind of a Serial Killer: The Experience

This event is bilingual
Produced by Exhibition Hub and Fever, ‘Mind of a Serial Killer: The Experience’ explores the workings of the criminal mind and the investigative work behind some of the most famous cases. Visitors will discover, amongst other things, a reconstructed investigation office, where they can learn how investigators draw up profiles, piece together timelines, analyse behaviour and examine evidence. Archives, documentary material, investigation files, psychological assessments and hyper-realistic reconstructions bring more than sixteen cases to life. From antiquity to the modern era, the exhibition illustrates how our understanding of criminal behaviour, profiling, investigative methods and forensic science has evolved over the centuries.
The highlight of the experience is a virtual reality investigation that allows visitors to take part in an inquiry and follow its various stages. Guided through an immersive journey, they are led to analyse clues, identify behavioural patterns and help build a profile as the investigation progresses, right up to the final confrontation with the suspect. This interactive experience offers a real-life insight into the challenges investigators face when trying to solve complex crimes.
Age requirement: 16 years or over. Those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Venue: 312 Sainte-Catherine Street West, on the corner of Bleury – Montreal
