Experience for 5 years and older | Otters Lunch

At the Ecomuseum Zoo, find out what the river otters have for lunch! An omelette or fish – what do you reckon?

River otters are among the animals most loved by the public! And with good reason – they’re playful and very charismatic! Don’t miss the chance to meet Taj and Eska!

The activity lasts 2 hours. You’ll start by attending an interactive presentation on river otters to learn more about their behaviour, their role in nature and, above all, what they eat! Then, once you’ve become real experts, it’ll be your turn to get stuck in: you’ll roll up your sleeves to prepare the otters’ lunch, before heading over to their enclosure to serve it up. That’s where you’ll experience a unique moment, as you toss your creations to the otters and watch them explore and tuck in! You won’t regret bringing your camera!

The activity starts at 8:30 am, before the zoo opens, and finishes at 10:30 am. The activity is led by one of our zoologists, an expert in Quebec’s wildlife, so please feel free to ask them any questions or express any curiosity that comes to mind throughout the activity! You’ll then have the chance to explore the Ecomuseum Zoo at your leisure, as admission is included in the price of the activity.

Please note that children under the age of 5 will not be admitted to this activity.
