Discovering a curious world – Saint Casimir’s Le Trou du diable

Spéléo Québec, in collaboration with the Portneuf Regional Nature Park, will be holding an open day on October 4th at Le Trou du diable in Saint-Casimir (682 Rue Notre-Dame, Saint-Casimir). This event, for which registration is compulsory but free of charge, will give you the chance to discover this little-known natural environment and experience some thrilling adventures underground! There will be interpretative activities on the surface, including scientific demonstrations and exhibitions of rocks and fossils. Guided tours at the site entrance, for those aged 6 and over, will also be available throughout the day, subject to registration.

October 4th:
– 9:00 am to 12:00 pm: Information stand, scientific demonstration of limestone dissolution and a demonstration of fossil collecting
– 9:00 am to 12:00 pm: Introduction to caving at the entrance to the Trou du Diable in Saint-Casimir and a walk along nature trails
– From 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm: Introduction to caving at the entrance to the Trou du diable in Saint-Casimir and a walk along nature trails
– From 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm: Information stand, scientific demonstration of limestone dissolution and a demonstration of fossil collecting
