What would happen if we changed the size of a gear? What if we used a belt?
In this engineering workshop, the young participants will start with basic instructions to build their first mechanism… and then it will be up to them to experiment! By modifying the various transmission systems, they will observe how these affect movement and discover how to increase or decrease speed, particularly using gears, pulleys and belts.
Observe, ask questions, try things out, compare and start again: a workshop where curiosity drives discovery!
