Welcome to the amusement park! In this Scientists in School workshop, kids explore the physics of fun rides: what happens when bumper cars collide, the forces at work when you spin, how gravity drives a zipline they build themselves, and how to design a roller coaster that meets a challenge.
Where: Malton Library, Multi-Purpose Room 3 – 3540 Morning Star Drive, Mississauga
Who: Kids ages 6–12
Registration: Free. Register online through the City of Mississauga (25 spots). A limited number of free tickets are also given out at the library 30 minutes before the program starts.
