Join the Manitoba Museum and the University of Manitoba Faculty of Science for Science In Action, a celebration of Science Literacy Week filled with hands-on activities, experiments, discoveries, and opportunities to meet people who make science happen.

This year’s Science Literacy Week theme, “Curiosity Unleashed”, celebrates the questions that get science started. What if we tried this? Why does that happen? What will we discover if we look a little closer? Curiosity encourages us to experiment, play with ideas, learn from the unexpected, and see the world in new ways.

Throughout the event, the University of Manitoba Faculty of Science and the Manitoba Museum will bring science to life through interactive activities and demonstrations for visitors of all ages. Meet researchers and science students, investigate fascinating phenomena, put your critical-thinking skills to the test, and discover some of the exciting science happening right here in Manitoba.
